Medical Administrative Assistant Diploma

The health care field offers a variety of interesting and challenging career opportunities to graduates of the Medical Administrative Assistant program. In this program, students receive education that emphasizes the administrative and business aspects of managing a medical or dental office. With strong administrative skills, graduates can become an integral part of a health care facility. Entry-level positions as receptionists, insurance processors, medical records clerks, and medical transcribers are found in medical and dental offices, hospitals, clinics, home health agencies and insurance companies.

Massage Therapy Diploma

The Massage Therapy program provides the basic knowledge, tools, ethics, and behaviors that will enable you to successfully practice as a massage therapist in a variety of healthcare settings. You will gain in-depth educational skills that increase your knowledge and develop specialized techniques of massage.

A balance of academic knowledge, technical expertise, clinical skills and manual dexterity can provide you with a competitive advantage in this ever-changing field. You will acquire a solid base of knowledge through instruction and hands-on learning in our well-rounded curriculum.

The Massage Therapist program is taught over a three-quarter period, with each quarter encompassing different courses of study. You will have the practical experience to obtain employment as a massage therapist in a number of healthcare settings, including medical and rehabilitation clinics, hospitals, and doctors' and chiropractors' offices. Opportunities also exist in health spas, hotels, fitness centers, sports organizations, tourist destinations, and cruise ships. There is the possibility of going into private practice as well.

Medical Assisting Diploma

In recent years, the Medical Assisting profession has become indispensable to the health care field. Not only have physicians become more reliant on Medical Assistants, but their services are also being requested by hospitals, clinics and nursing homes, as well as medical supply businesses, home health agencies, insurance companies, and pharmaceutical companies. The Medical Assisting program trains students in both administrative and clinical procedures. Graduates are capable of filling a variety of entry-level positions including clinical or administrative assistant, medical receptionist and medical insurance biller.

Medical Insurance Billing/Coding Diploma

The Medical Insurance Billing/Coding Program is designed to prepare students for entry level positions as medical insurance billers/coders in today's health care offices, clinics and facilities. Students study diagnostic and procedural terminology as it relates to the accurate completion of medical insurance claims. Utilizing a format of medical specialties, relevant terms will be introduced and studied.
