Dental Assistant - DiplomaBack to topIn just over eight months, students receive the training they need to prepare them not only for a position in a dental office, but to take the Licensed Registered Dental Assistant exam immediately upon completion of the program. Graduates of the program receive a certificate, a Radiology Certificate, a Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certificate, and a Coronal Polishing Certificate. Duties graduates will perform in the office may include: patient preparation, chair-side assisting and x-rays. After successful completion of the RDA exam, extended duties may include: temporary restorations, periopacks, and bases and liners. General office duties may include insurance billing, accounts receivable and appointment control.
