Since medical assistants are trained in both administrative and clinical procedures, they are capable of filling a variety of entry-level positions including clinical or administrative assistant, medical receptionist and medical insurance biller. This education program is divided into learning units called modules. Upon successful completion of the modules, students participate in a 160-clock-hour externship. Students have the option to take the eight-month day program or the ten-month evening program.
