Everest College, founded in 1962 as the Everett Schools, is
dedicated to providing quality programs that are sound in
concept, implemented by a competent and dedicated faculty and
geared to serve those seeking a solid foundation in knowledge and
skills which are required to obtain employment in their chosen
fields. The programs emphasize hands-on learning, are relevant to
employers' needs and focus on areas that offer strong, long-term
employment opportunities.
Since 1996, Everest College has been offering programs in allied
health professions in the Seattle area - home to several large
education hospitals and many specialty medical research centers.
In March 2002, the school moved to a new, larger facility in
Renton, containing lecture rooms, a computer lab and medical
labs.

In the Dental Assisting program you will gain knowledge of the
basic dental sciences, proficiency in laboratory and clinical
skills, and practical experience involving specialized skills.
You will obtain hands-on experience in a laboratory setting using
major equipment such as amalgamators, dental units and chairs,
model trimmers, oral evacuation equipment, oxygen tanks, personal
computers, ultrasonic units, and X-ray units.
You will also be trained in valuable clinical, radiographic, and
administrative procedures, leading to career opportunities with
dental offices, dental supply manufacturers, hospital dental
departments, and insurance companies.
Successful completion of the Dental Assisting program is
acknowledged with a diploma, a Radiation Safety Certificate and
verification of coronal polish completion.

Medical Assistants are trained in both administrative and
clinical procedures, and are capable of filling a variety of
rewarding positions. Our education program is divided into
learning units called modules. You must complete the modules in
their entirety, in any sequence, to successfully complete this
curriculum. Upon successful completion of the modules, you are
required to participate in a 160-hour externship. This program
provides you with the opportunity to interact with patients and
apply the principles and practices learned in the classroom.

care; take vital signs and run laboratory and diagnostic tests,

This program offers simulated practice where you manually and
electronically prepare insurance claims. You will practice
