Dental Assisting DiplomaBack to topThe objective of the dental assisting program is to provide graduates with the skills and knowledge that will enable them to qualify for entry-level positions as dental assistants. While it is not a prerequisite to employment as a dental assistant, the importance of becoming a Registered Dental Assistant is emphasized, and students become familiar with the types of practical and written exams they will encounter when they qualify to take the RDA exam. Upon successful completion of the Dental Assisting program, students receive a diploma, a Radiation Safety Certificate and verification of coronal polish completion.
