Remington College – Columbia Campus offers career-focused training designed to help prepare students in the Richland and Lexington County for relevant entry-level employment in the fields of medical assisting, medical insurance coding and cosmetology.

Our Campus is in touch with the needs of area employers. We meet regularly with representatives from local businesses as part of our program advisory committee for each program area. These committees help us by reviewing our program offerings and provide valuable feedback on our program objectives, course content, equipment/facilities, library resources, and the local employment outlook. Diploma - Cosmetology

Remington College's Cosmetology Diploma Program is designed to develop your product knowledge, artistry, and skills so that you can help people look and feel their best. This program covers industry fundamentals and the basics of skin care, hair care, and nail care. No previous cosmetology experience is necessary for program entry.

Diploma - Medical Assisting

If you want a career where you finish the day feeling satisfied and rewarded, medical assisting could be the right field for you. Medical assistants are key to the smooth function of today's hospitals, clinics, and doctor's offices. With training from Remington College you will be prepared to function in both administrative and clinical situations. Now is the time to get the training you need for a career you'll love.

Diploma - Medical Billing and Coding

The objective of the Medical Billing and Coding Program is to provide graduates with the skills and knowledge that will enable them to qualify for entry-level positions in medical insurance billing. The program takes about 8 or 9 months to complete. When you complete the Medical Billing and Coding Program, you will be awarded a diploma and should have the basic skills and knowledge to start your career as a medical coder.
