Everest College, founded in 1962 as the Everest Schools, is

The West Los Angeles campus occupies more than 20,000 square feet
which includes computer labs, classrooms, multimedia audio/video

Dental Assisting Diploma

The objective of the dental assisting program is to provide
graduates with the skills and knowledge that will enable them to
qualify for entry-level positions as dental assistants. While it
is not a prerequisite to employment as a dental assistant, the
importance of becoming a Registered Dental Assistant is
emphasized, and students become familiar with the types of
practical and written exams they will encounter when they qualify
to take the RDA exam.
Upon successful completion of the Dental Assisting program,
students receive a diploma, a Radiation Safety Certificate and
verification of coronal polish completion.

The massage therapy program provides the basic knowledge, tools,
ethics and behaviors that will enable you to successfully
practice as a massage therapist in a variety of health care
settings. You will gain in-depth educational skills that increase

The massage therapist program is taught over a 3-quarter period,
with each quarter encompassing different courses of study. You
will have the practical experience to obtain employment as a

The objective of the medical assisting program is to provide
graduates with the skills and knowledge that will enable them to
qualify for entry-level positions as medical assistants. Since
medical assistants are trained in both administrative and
clinical procedures, they are capable of filling a variety of
entry-level positions including:
- Clinical or administrative assistant
- Medical receptionist
- Medical insurance biller
This education program is divided into learning units called
modules. Upon successful completion of the modules, students
participate in a 160-clock-hour externship. Students have the
option to take the 8-month day program or the 10-month evening
program.

Our medical insurance biller program is designed to prepare
students for positions as medical insurance billers in today's
health care offices, clinics and facilities. Several courses are
provided to complete the program and better prepare students.
The program offers some of the following courses:
- Insurance specialist
- Legal issues
- Front office
- Customer service
- The health insurance claim form
The Private Insurance Plans (Blue Cross/ Blue Shield) and
Medicare courses cover all aspects of the Blue Cross and Blue
Shield insurance, as well as Medicare and its related programs.
In addition, there is an introduction to electronic billing.
