YTI's Mechanicsburg is a 28,000 square-foot facility which
includes lab areas, classrooms, student and faculty eating areas,
and administrative offices. The campus offers 224 onboard
personal computers with 40 gigabyte hard drives with integrated
video and sound using Windows XP, networked on a Windows 2003
platform for use in all of its programs. The medical facilities
include an up-to-date, fully equipped medical laboratory with 22
monocular microscopes, a simulated physician's examining area
with 2 multi-channel electrocardiograph (EKG) machines and
transcribers.
The massage therapy practitioner program hosts a simulated clinic
classroom equipped with 20 massage tables in addition to lecture
and computer classrooms. Also included is an office waiting area
and a 10-person massage clinic which allows students additional
practice on clients from the general public during the internship
portion of their training.

This program will provide the student with the education,
training, and skills necessary to assume entry-level employment
positions in today's ever-growing medical office environment.
Health information specialist graduates may obtain positions as
medical records technicians, medical insurance billers, coding
clerks or as medical secretaries.
Massage Therapy Practitioner - Diploma

This program will provide students with the educational
background and practical skills necessary to assume entry-level
positions as massage therapists in today's multifaceted
alternative therapies environment including rehabilitation and
wellness centers, chiropractic and medical offices, corporate
wellness programs and self-employment.
This training program includes the fundamentals of therapeutic
massage, Swedish massage, sports massage, clinical massage and
neuromuscular therapy. Students can get practical on-the-job
experience through the school's clinic that offers massage
services to the public. Upon successful completion of the
program, the student will be eligible to take the National
Certification Exam for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork.
Medical Assistant - Diploma

This program will prepare students to perform patient care
skills, clinical procedures, examination preparation, medical
office procedures, CPR, first aid, treatment room procedures, lab
techniques, diagnostic testing and medical office management. The
Medical Assistant Diploma program encompasses the administrative,
technical and clinical areas of medical practice and will prepare
graduates for entry-level employment as generalists in offices of
physicians, surgeons, hospitals or other out-patient facilities.

The Pharmacy Technician Diploma program trains students in
pharmacology, pharmacy business, medication preparation,
insurance and billing processing, patient relations, reading
physicians' orders and hospital charts, inventory tracking and
maintenance, and medical records and accuracy. This program will
provide the student with the education, training and skills
necessary to assume entry-level employment as pharmacy
technicians in today's ever growing pharmaceutical environment.
Pharmacy Technician graduates may obtain positions in
pharmaceutical companies, retail pharmacies, hospitals, mail
order pharmaceutical processing centers and other out-patient
facilities.
