Graduate from our Dental Assisting program, and you'll be qualified to provide instruments and materials to dentists, keep patients' mouths clear, sterilize instruments and equipment, and prepare tray setups for dental procedures. During a patient exam, you may also instruct patients on proper oral care, remove sutures, apply anesthetics to gums or cavity-preventive agents to teeth, and more.

Duties may also include taking medical histories and recording vital signs, explaining treatment procedures to patients, preparing patients for exams and assisting physicians.

Upon graduation, you will be qualified to work as a Medical Assistant, a Medical Receptionist, a Medical Insurance Biller, a Medical Bookkeeper or a Laboratory Assistant in places like a physician's office, a health practitioner's office or outpatient care centers, among others.

A Pharmacy Technician is usually a pharmacist's right-hand man. They are exceptional listeners, are always alert, very responsible and pay attention to the finest details.

As a licensed pharmacist's assistant, you will help prepare prescribed medication for patients. Our training prepares you to retrieve, count, pour, weigh and measure the prescription medication. Prescriptions, which are checked by a pharmacist before being given to a patient, must then be priced and filed. You may also maintain patient profiles, prepare insurance forms, and stock and take inventory of medications.

Upon graduation, students will be qualified to work as pharmacy technicians in clinics, hospitals or retail pharmacies.

Surgical Technologists are comfortable around blood, and comfortable watching people being operated on. A Surgical Technologist is comfortable in intense environments, works well with their hands, and is very interested in the human body.

As a Surgical Technologist, you'll assist in surgical procedures under the supervision of surgeons and nurses or other surgical personnel. Your training will give you the expertise you need to set up operating instruments, supplies and equipment, prepare patients for surgery, assist the surgeon during surgery and more.

Upon graduation, you will be required to take an exam to complete your certification as a Surgical Technologist. When you pass this exam, you will be qualified to work in places such as:
