Pacific College is a private post-secondary educational
institution founded in 1993 to provide accessible, innovative,
and relevant education to adult learners.
Today's fast paced, complex society, along with increasing
demands and challenges in technological advances have created an

Pacific College programs are taught in specially-built
classrooms, laboratories, and computer rooms. The building houses
a diagnostic lab, an ultrasound lab, a cardiovascular lab, a
physical medicine lab, a computer lab, a library, and a student
lounge. In keeping with the high educational standards of Pacific
College, the equipment used affords students the opportunity to
develop a practical, working knowledge of the equipment and
materials they will be using on the job.
Depending upon which career path the student chooses, this
program will prepare students for careers in several
occupations in the cardiovascular field. These occupations
include EKG Technician, Phlebotomy Technician, Echocardiography
Technician, Cardiovascular Technician, and Cardiology
Technician. Upon the completion of this training program, the
student will have acquired the necessary knowledge and skills
required to secure an entry-level position.
IV Certification

The Pacific College program for IV Certification is 36 hours in
length. It is a 6 week course that teaches Phlebotomy and IV.
LVN NCLEX Preparation

Pacific College is known for their high NCLEX pass rate. The
reason is the customized NCLEX Preparation Program. This
program is taught by an MD. It allows students to focus on
their weak areas to become proficient before taking the NCLEX
exam.
Massage Therapy

A highly-skilled, multi-occupational cross-trained professional
working in the field of massage therapy is in great demand.
This individual is highly motivated and ambitious and is able
to work in any one of many different massage and health care
positions and locales. Our Massage Therapy diploma program is
designed to provide the student with the necessary tools to
successfully enter the massage industry. Graduates will acquire
the didactic theory and hands-on experience necessary to
succeed in a new career in a hospital, physical therapy clinic,
rehab clinic, day spa, Chiropractic office, health club or a
resort.
Phlebotomy Certification

The Pacific College program for Phlebotomy is California
Department of Health Services approved. It requires 20 hours of
basic didactic/classroom instruction. Students of the program
will complete 50 documented successful venipunctures and 10
documented successful skin punctures under the general overall
supervision of persons qualified to train the applicant.
High School Diploma or GED is required for this program. No
previous healthcare experience required.
Physical Medicine Assisting

The overall objective of the diploma program in physical
medicine assisting is to provide the graduate with the didactic
theory and hands-on applications required to function in an
entry-level position in any number of occupations in the field
of physical medicine or Myotherapy/Massage Therapy. Upon
completion of this program, the student will have acquired the
knowledge and skills necessary to work as a Physical Therapy
Aide, Chiropractic Assistant, Orthopedic Technician, Sports
Medicine Assistant, Personal Fitness Trainer and Myotherapist.
Post-Graduation Career Placement Assistance

Pacific College offers placement assistance to all graduates. A
20-hour Career Development Seminar is offered to all students
before entering their externship. In this seminar, students
learn job seeking skills such as writing a resume, interviewing
techniques, filing an application, etc.
While the College cannot guarantee employment or salary
amounts, considerable effort is made to bring potential
employers together with appropriately skilled graduates. Job
placement assistance is provided at no cost to the graduate.
