Medical Office Management and Clinical Practice - Associate's

In this exciting career, you'll help care for patients, carry out
routine treatments, conduct lab tests, and maintain office
records. Medical assistants also have clerical duties. They
answer telephones, greet patients and update medical records.
Assistants complete insurance forms and schedule appointments.
They also arrange for hospital admission and lab services. You'll
work with doctors, nurses, specialists, and other medical
professionals caring for and treating patients.
Medical Transcriptionist - Associate's or Diploma

As a medical transcriptionist you will listen to dictated
recordings made by health care professionals and generate medical
reports and other administrative material. You will then return
the documents to the health care professionals who dictated them
for review and signature. These documents become part of
patients' permanent files. You may also have other duties such as
receiving patients, scheduling appointments, answering the
telephone, and handling incoming and outgoing mail.
