Health Unit Coordinators work at the nurses' station in health care facilities, coordinating the non-clinical activities, clerical, and support functions related to patient care. Through the Limited Medical Radiography program, graduates are prepared to perform x-ray (radiographic) examinations in clinics, physicians' offices, dentists' offices, public health institutions, and urgent care centers. Surgical Technology Diploma

Students gain knowledge and experience with septic technique, and preparation and use of instruments and supplies to be used in surgery during surgical procedures. The surgical technologist performs scrub and/or circulating duties including passing instruments and supplies to the surgical team members. Preparing and positioning the patient, operating equipment, and assisting the anesthesiologist, and keeping accurate records.
Associate of Applied Science in Healthcare Reimbursement Specialist

The objective of this program is to analyze medical records, assigning codes to indices of diagnoses and procedures and to provide information for reimbursement purposes. The course prepares the students to apply for the national coding certificate at the apprentice level. Associate of Applied Science in Invasive Cardiovascular Technology

The Invasive Cardiovascular Technologist is a highly specialized and knowledgeable health care professional who is educated and trained to perform diagnostic procedures at the request of the physician to evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with cardiac disease.
Graduates of the Invasive Cardiovascular Technology program will be eligible to take the National Credentialing Examination (RCIS). Depending upon background, students will also be required to sit for the Basic Science Examination administered by CCI (Cardiovascular Credentialing International).

The Medical Laboratory Technician performs routine laboratory tests on blood, urine and body fluids to help diagnose disease and injury in a hospital, clinic, or laboratory. This program provides students with a foundation of knowledge and skill necessary to function in a modern, highly technical medical laboratory setting. Upon completion, students will be prepared to apply for a national certification examination.

The purpose of the Radiology Technologist program is to prepare competent students to perform the duties of an entry-level Radiologic Technologist. They will assist the radiologist in providing a high level of radiologic technology expertise to patients in hospitals, clinics, extended care facilities, nursing homes, and other organized health care settings.
The program addresses the competency specified by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) and prepares students for employment in the field of radiology.
