Medical Assisting - Certificate

Want a career in medical assisting? Fox Institute offers the medical assistant training and skills necessary for a student enrolled in this program to perform successfully in a Medical Assistant position including an externship for medical assistants. Upon completing the course, the student will possess the ability to perform routine clinical and clerical office procedures in various medical environments, the knowledge of federal regulations including OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) guidelines, and the understanding of empathy and medical ethics necessary in daily medical practice

Medical Billing and Coding - Certificate

This program is designed to provide the education and skills necessary to pursue a career in the field of health information systems as a medical billing and coding specialist. The broad-based curriculum will prepare the student to have a sound understanding of medical billing, insurance claim processing, and the laws regarding billing. Upon completing this program, graduates will possess the knowledge and skills to work in a variety of medical settings including hospitals, doctors' offices, clinics, rehabilitation facilities and health and wellness centers.
