MCed Online specializes in the health care industry, with particular focus on medical administrative assisting which encompasses information management, including medical coding and billing, medical electronic records management and the medical front office. This wide range of job skills increases our graduates' chances of employment and success as they grow and develop in their chosen career paths. Our graduates have many job options to choose from when seeking employment.

The growth explosion in the medical coding field has its largest increase in the outpatient coding; doctors' offices are an example of this. It is for this reason that MCed Career College has chosen the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC), or also referred to as the Academy, as the industry certification focus for medical coders when it developed its curriculum. The Academy has traditionally specialized in the outpatient coding certification arena, and is a well known and recognized certification.
