Health Care Management (Online) - Bachelor's

The Health Care Management Bachelor of Science degree will give students the education and practical experience they need to work at the forefront of the health care industry--the largest and one of the fastest-growing industries in the United States.

Students of the health care management program will study multiple facets of health care, including medical law and ethics, psychology, physiology, management, planning, and regulation and compliance in health care. Health Information Technician - Associate's

Medical Administration - Associate's

You can learn how to successfully manage a medical office with an Associate's degree in medical administration from Rasmussen College. The Medical administration degree prepares you for multiple challenges you will encounter in the office including coding, understanding medical terminology, recognizing medical law and ethics, learning proper medical insurance and billing procedures and success strategies in the office.

Medical Laboratory Technician - Associate's

Medical Transcriptionist - Associate's

As a medical transcriptionist you will listen to dictated recordings made by health care professionals and generate medical reports and other administrative material. You will then return the documents to the health care professionals who dictated them for review and signature. These documents become part of patients' permanent files.

You may also have other duties such as receiving patients, scheduling appointments, answering the telephone, and handling incoming and outgoing mail.

Pharmacy Technician - Associate's

Pharmacy technicians help pharmacists provide drugs and other health care products to patients. Graduates of this degree program learn theory and practical applications of pharmacy practice. They are able to apply knowledge to retail and hospital pharmacy settings. They combine effective use of available software programs with proficiency in receiving, interpreting, inputting and filling prescriptions. They have knowledge of medical terminology, medical law and ethics, and pharmacy math.
