The Bachelor of Science in Health Care Administration program is
designed to prepare health care practitioners to work as
supervisors and managers in health care settings. The curriculum
provides a working foundation in management and interpersonal
skills, while at the same time introducing the student to the
health care delivery system and its many and varied issues and
challenges.
Graduates are prepared to assume increased management
responsibilities with a better understanding of the complex
system in which they work. Students are ready for employment in
entry-level management and accounting positions in hospitals,

Our Occupational Associate's in Medical Specialties offers
diverse clinical and administrative courses, allowing graduates

Medical specialists are responsible for duties such as
sterilizing equipment, preparing a patient for examination,
assisting the doctor during an examination, performing tests and

The Associate of Science in Respiratory Therapy degree program
prepares you to meet the challenges of this dynamic field. As
part of the curriculum, you'll gain clinical experience with
patients in a respiratory care facility. You will receive your
clinical training at some of the best hospitals in the Salt Lake
City area, so you'll master new skills under the supervision of
some of the best respiratory practitioners and physicians in the
country.
The respiratory therapy program offers:

The curriculum is a 22-month course of study combining classroom
theory, laboratory experience and clinical practice in
respiratory patient care. Graduates have the skills for

Surgical Technology - Associate's

This program prepares students to assume entry-level positions as
members of a health care surgical team. Employment opportunities
are available in hospitals and in surgical centers as surgical
technologists. The surgical technologist works under the direct
supervision of the circulating nurse in the operating room. The
surgical technologist assists with surgical procedures and
provides the surgeon with instruments, sutures, sponges, and
other equipment necessary to accomplish the procedures.
The Associate of Occupational Studies degree in Surgical
Technology prepares you to meet the challenges of this fast-paced
field. As part of the curriculum, you'll gain clinical experience
at some of the best hospitals in the Salt Lake City area. All
clinical externships are performed in the daytime.
This program prepares students for possible certifications* in
ARC-ST sponsored by the American College of Surgeons and the
Association of Surgical Technologists Certified Surgical
Technologist (CST).
