Health Care Management - Bachelor's

The objective of the Bachelor of Science in Health Care Management is to prepare students with the knowledge, technical skills and work habits required for entry level positions in health care administration. Its curriculum will prepare the graduates with the knowledge and skills for entry-level management positions including human resources, financial, data collection and analysis, planning, marketing and other administrative/management functions within public, private and government health care industries. Students will provide evidence of competencies in communication, social sciences, humanities and fine arts, analytical and inferential reasoning and computational skills as well as the ability to learn on one's own.

Accreditation

MSB and Globe are nationally accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS) to award diplomas, associate in applied science degrees, bachelor of science degrees and master degrees. Additionally, Minnesota School of Business and Globe University are licensed as private career schools with the Minnesota Office of Higher Education.

The Minnesota School of Business and Globe University Medical Assisting programs are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (www.caahep.org) upon the recommendation of the Curriculum Review board of the American Association of Medical Assistants Endowment (AAMAE).

The Minnesota School of Business (Plymouth, Brooklyn Center and Shakopee campus) and Globe University veterinary technology programs are accredited by the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) as a program for educating veterinary technicians.
