The Massage Therapist program provides the basic knowledge,

Medical Insurance Biller - Diploma
Medical Administrative Assistant - Diploma
Medical clerical staff responsibilities include maintaining
patient charts, accounts receivable and payable, coding insurance
forms and preparing computerized billing. In addition, they
schedule appointments, type correspondence and transcribe

As a medical assistant you will prepare patients to see the
doctor, take blood pressures, and record medical histories. You
will also set up the examination room, give immunizations, take
EKG's and perform various lab tests. On the administrative side,
you will help to schedule appointments, order supplies, fill out
insurance forms, handle correspondence and maintain patient
charts. Most graduates currently serve the profession in medical
offices. Clinics, medical centers, medical institutions, research
centers, laboratories, nursing homes, specialized care centers,
hospitals and health maintenance organizations (HMO'S) are all
facilities that employ Medical Assistants.

As a dental assistant, you will prepare patients to see the
dentist, assist the dentist at chairside during patient care, and
care for the treatment room and instruments, including all
infection control procedures. You will be responsible for taking
and processing dental x-rays, performing basic laboratory
procedures and providing patient education.
North-West's Dental Assistant Programs are approved by the
California Board of Dental Examiners to train dental assistants
at the registered level.
