In the office, the person working directly with the dentist
during patient procedures is the dental assistant.
Each state has a dental practice act that governs which duties
dental assistants can perform. This varies from performing
invasive procedures, such as placing retraction cord and dental
dams, to non-invasive procedures, such as patient education.

Diploma - Medical Assisting w/X-ray - EKG

If you're interested in working in healthcare with a particular
focus on X-ray and EKG technologies, a career in Medical
Assisting with X-ray and EKG Diagnostic Emphasis may be right for
you. The objective of Remington College's 12-month medical
assisting diploma program is to prepare you for entry-level
medical assisting positions that may include X-ray and EKG
responsibilities and for any additional licensing and state
certifications that may be required.
Diploma - Medical Billing and Coding

The objective of the Medical Billing and Coding Program is to provide graduates with the skills and knowledge that will enable them to qualify for entry-level positions in medical insurance billing. The program takes about 8 or 9 months to complete. When you complete the Medical Billing and Coding Program, you will be awarded a diploma and should have the basic skills and knowledge to start your career as a medical coder.
Diploma - Pharmacy Technician

This program will provide learning experiences, coordinated with
the texts and lab activities to enable graduates to obtain basic
competency needed for employment as Pharmacy Technicians in
either the hospital or retail setting. A technician is an
individual who, under the supervision of a pharmacist, assists in
the performance of activities of the pharmacy department not
requiring the professional judgment of a pharmacist.
This training program is divided into eight learning units called
modules. Students must complete modules I, through VII. Upon
successful completion of modules I through VII, students
participate in 160 clock-hour Externship. Completion of the
Pharmacy Technician Program is acknowledged by the awarding of a
diploma. Program completion normally requires approximately 32
weeks for full-time students.
