Health Information Technician - Associate's

Massage Therapy - Associate's

Become a massage therapist and begin an exciting, in-demand career in the health care industry. Massage therapists manipulate soft tissues of the body using a variety of techniques. Massage therapy has a broad number of medical applications including relaxation, stress reduction, health promotion, pain management, and injury recovery.

Graduates of this degree program learn not only the techniques and theory necessary to excel in a massage therapy career, but they are also provided with the training necessary to begin the process of operating a massage therapy business.

Medical Coding - Diploma

Medical Transcriptionist - Associate's

As a medical transcriptionist you will listen to dictated recordings made by health care professionals and generate medical reports and other administrative material. You will then return the documents to the health care professionals who dictated them for review and signature. These documents become part of patients' permanent files.

You may also have other duties such as receiving patients, scheduling appointments, answering the telephone, and handling incoming and outgoing mail.

Pharmacy Technician - Associate's

Pharmacy technicians help pharmacists provide drugs and other health care products to patients. Graduates of this degree program learn theory and practical applications of pharmacy practice. They are able to apply knowledge to retail and hospital pharmacy settings. They combine effective use of available software programs with proficiency in receiving, interpreting, inputting and filling prescriptions. They have knowledge of medical terminology, medical law and ethics, and pharmacy math.

Upon completion of the program they possess the knowledge to take the Pharmacy Technician Certification Examination (PTCB). They value honesty and integrity. They have compassion for patients and respect patient confidentiality.
