The licensed practical nurse (LPN) program provides students with
the knowledge and clinical skills necessary to enter the health
care field as a licensed practical nurse in a variety of settings
including hospitals, physician's offices, clinics, dental
surgeons, nursing homes, assisted living facilities,
rehabilitation centers, urgent care or with patients in private
home settings. Graduates are eligible to sit for the NCLEX-PN
licensure examination.

This program prepares students for a career in health care.
Graduates will be able to assist the doctor with laboratory
tests, the operating of diagnostic equipment, and preparing case
histories and medical reports. This training is designed to
prepare graduates for entry-level positions as medical assistants
in a physician's office, medical clinic, laboratory or in many
other health related facilities. Graduates are able to sit for
the CMA exam upon graduation, as the program meets the current
education requirements for CMA certification.

students as multi-skilled health care professionals. Hospitals,

facilities require highly skilled information managers to

The patient care technician program provides students with the
knowledge and clinical skills necessary to enter the health care
field as patient care technicians in various hospital settings.
As allied health professionals, patient care technicians are
members of the health care team, providing care to patients in a
variety of settings. These include specialty departments of
hospitals, such as emergency rooms (ER), intensive care units
(ICU) and outpatient settings.

The surgical technologist program provides students with the
knowledge and clinical skills to enter the health care field as a
surgical technologist. Surgical technologists are allied health
professionals who are members of the surgical team providing
surgical patient care in a variety of settings including hospital
operating room departments, obstetrical departments, surgical
supply/processing departments, outpatient surgical centers and
surgeon office practices.
