Depending upon the degree program you select, you can attend
class on campus or online. Some campuses offer a combined
campus-based and online learning format. While widely available,
not all learning formats are offered at all locations.
Campus-Based Learning Format

- Attend class just once a week. Classes are offered in the
evening or on weekends. Some campuses offer day classes.
- Complete homework assignments on your own, as well as with

Online Learning Format

- Complete coursework through electronic forums
- Download lectures and assignments from your student website
and study them at your convenience.
- Login to class at least four days per week for University
of Phoenix or three days per week for Axia College of
University of Phoenix. You choose the days and times.

The Bachelor of Science in Human Services provides students the
opportunity to learn the skills, knowledge and attitudes of a
professional human service worker. Through course work, students
learn about human development, problems in human functioning,

influencing public policy, and crisis intervention. In field
experience, students learn how to apply what they have learned to
manage cases, organize helping services and programs, assess need
and provide help.

The MBA in Health Care Management program emphasizes the
identification, analysis and solution of complex management
problems with a foundation of health care concepts and decision
models that will support the variety of management roles that can
be seen in today's health care environment. Courses will cover
health care organizations, health care finance, quality and data
base management, health care infrastructure and health care
strategic management.

The Master of Health Administration program prepares leaders who
can effectively respond to the dynamic and ever-changing health
care industry. These individuals have a capacity to critically
examine and evaluate issues and trends and are empowered to
influence the destiny of the global health care system.
Curriculum is tailored to the needs of the health care
leader/manager by providing content in finance, policy, research,
technology, quality improvement, economics, marketing and
strategic planning. In addition, students will also be asked to
complete course work related to their area of concentration such
as public health, long-term care and health informatics.
