Medical Assistant - Certificate
Students completing the Medical Assistant Certificate program will have the basic skills and knowledge to assist with and document routine clinical examinations and procedures, and to perform tests common to a health care facility. In addition to front office skills, they will develop the necessary clinical skills to become employed as ECG technicians, medical assistants, health unit coordinators or surgical unit assistants. Graduates will be eligible for employment in a variety of health care settings, including hospitals, clinics and physician’s offices.
