Allied Health - Associate's (Day / Evening)

The objective of the Associate Degree in Applied Science in Allied Health is to prepare an individual to enter the medical field in the capacity of medical assistant, medical office manager, or medical secretary. Other opportunities exist in the hospital setting as a patient care technician, EKG technician, unit secretary, or ward clerk. Graduates of this program will be eligible to sit for the following certifications*: Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), administered by the American Medical Technologists (AMT); National Certified EKG Technician (NCET), and National Certified Phlebotomy Technician (NCPT), administered by the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT).
