This campus is west of the downtown area, just north of State Road 836 (Dolphin Expressway) and just west of State Road 826 (Palmetto Expressway). Massage Therapy - DiplomaThis program blends training in therapeutic massage with knowledge of the structure and function of the human body. In addition, the curriculum provides students with training in hydrotherapy, Florida massage law and the most current allied modalities. This program will adequately prepare students for their role in the health care community. The objective of the program is to prepare students for the Florida State Board/National Certification Examination for licensure by developing the skills necessary to meet the needs of the health care community. Upon passage of the examination, graduates seek employment as entry-level licensed massage therapists. We strive to give students a thorough working knowledge of the structure and function of the human body and the theory of natural health care methodologies.
