Kaplan College, formerly CEI College, has been successfully
graduating students since 1990. We have ten locations throughout
Southern California offering a wide range of programs suited to
fit all types of needs. Our curriculum is based on industry
demands in the medical, technical and legal environments. Kaplan

In just over eight months, students receive the training they
need to prepare them not only for a position in a dental office,
but to take the Licensed Registered Dental Assistant exam
immediately upon completion of the program.
Graduates of the program receive a diploma, a Radiology
Certificate, a Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certificate,
and a Coronal Polishing Certificate. Duties graduates will
perform in the office may include: patient preparation,
chair-side assisting, and x-rays. After successful completion of
the RDA exam, extended duties may include: temporary
restorations, periopacks, and bases and liners. General office
duties may include insurance billing, accounts receivable, and
appointment control.

Medical Office Specialist - Diploma

The objective of the Medical Office Specialist Diploma program is
to cover the core areas of the medical front office, including
insurance billing and coding. Students will learn the basics of
insurance plans and private insurance. Students will learn
telephone techniques, filing, scheduling, peg board, mail,
banking and inventory and office management. Students will be
introduced to the emergency medical needs most likely to occur in
students' respective career environments.

With our Associate of Applied Science in Medical Practice
Management degree program, you could acquire the in-depth
training and job knowledge needed to pursue an entry-level
position in the health care field. This program is designed to
help you train to become a medical practice manager, medical
office manager, medical assistant manager, or other similar
position in a health care facility. In those positions it could
be your job to help keep a medical office running efficiently.
Through group discussions, lectures, and hands-on laboratory
experience, you can develop the administrative, communication,
management, and accounting skills that could help you find career
success.
