The Doctor of Audiology (AuD) program is open to students with a
bachelor's or master's degree as well as practicing audiologists.
With an Au.D. degree from Northeastern, you will influence
society in profound ways--assisting in the early identification
of hearing loss and auditory disorders, providing services to
help conserve hearing, and helping individuals with hearing loss
to better communicate.
Northeastern University has offered a graduate program in
audiology since 1965. Our Doctor of Audiology program prepares
audiologists for the rigors of current audiologic practice. The
Au.D. program provides students with a practice-oriented
education, integrating the most recent research with the highest
quality clinical experience. We are located in the heart of
downtown Boston, with easy access to leading medical institutions
and cultural centers. The goal of the Au.D. program is to educate
students to the highest levels of professionalism, consistent

program in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) that reflects the

prepares future speech-language pathologists for the rigors of
clinical practice in educational and health care settings. Part
of Bouvé College of Health Sciences, the SLP graduate
program offers students a comprehensive program of study that

service-delivery issues. Students assist academic and clinical
faculty conducting cutting edge research and evidence-based
practice on campus as well as at our affiliated world-renowned
educational and medical institutions. Northeastern University SLP

while observing and participating in activities at our Speech and
Hearing Center.
Our academic programs are fully accredited by the American
Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Graduates accumulate
clinical course work and experience necessary for national
certification (ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence, CCC).
