Dental Assistant - Diploma

The objective of the Dental Assistant program is to prepare
students with the knowledge, technical skills, and work habits
required for entry-level positions in the dental field. This
program includes instruction in both the clinical (chairside) and
administrative aspects of dental assisting. Upon successful
completion of the program, graduates will be awarded a diploma.
Graduates may become Registered Dental Assistants by passing the
Registered Dental Assistant examination. Graduates are also
eligible to sit for the State Board of Radiology Exam.
Our students will have the opportunity to practice the skills
they learned in class during their externship.

Medical Assistant (Clinical/Clerical) - Diploma

The objective of the Medical Assistant Clinical/Clerical program
is to prepare students with the knowledge, technical skills, and
work habits required for entry-level positions in the healthcare
field. This program includes instruction in both the clinical and
administrative aspects of medical assisting, anatomy and
physiology, and CPR certification. Graduation is acknowledged by
awarding a diploma upon completion of the program. Graduates may
become Certified Medical Assistants by passing the Certified
Medical Assistant Examination.
Our students will have the opportunity to practice the skills
they learned in class during their externship.
Career Centers of Texas - Corpus Christi offers students the
opportunity to become an RMA (Registered Medical Assistant).

The objective of the Medical Office Specialist program is to
prepare students with the knowledge, technical skills and work
habits required for entry-level positions in the medical field in
a private physician's office, clinic, hospital clerical
department or other medical facility. This program includes
instruction in computerized medical procedures such as insurance,
bookkeeping, word processing and transcription. Upon successful
completion of the program, graduates will be awarded a diploma.

they learned in class during their externship.

Patient Care Technician - Diploma

Patient care technicians play a vital role in the delivery of
health care, often having more patient contact than any other
team member including doctors and nurses. The patient care
technician assists patients with tasks they cannot do for
themselves, such as bathing, brushing their teeth and hair,
eating, and dressing. Additional responsibilities may include
performing range of motion exercises, transferring the patient to
and from a wheelchair or bed, and helping the patient move from
place to place.
