Massage Therapy - Diploma

This program includes an entry-level curriculum in the area of soft tissue dysfunction and massage therapy. A balance of academic knowledge, technical expertise, clinical skills and manual dexterity can provide you with a competitive advantage in this ever-changing field. You will learn how to properly assess and document massage sessions, as well as communicate effectively with insurance professionals through medical terminology, pharmacology and documentation classes. Additional courses include medical law and ethics, adjunctive therapy and business management, providing a well-rounded educational experience.

Medical Administrative Assistant - Diploma

The medical administrative assistant program will prepare graduates to function as bookkeepers, secretaries/receptionists and insurance clerks. Students learn the meaning of various medical word elements (roots, prefixes and suffixes) and learn to combine them in order to understand numerous medical terms used in the profession. Students study the structure of the human body and its parts including relationships, functions and disease processes of the skeletal, muscular, nervous and reproductive systems. Medical ethics are discussed as they relate to various issues in today's medical environment. Students are also introduced to the administrative functions of the medical office or clinic.

Medical Assistant - Diploma

The curriculum of the medical assistant program encompass lecture, laboratory and computer work in areas including patient care and communication, clinical assisting and pharmacology, medical insurance, bookkeeping and health sciences.

You will be prepared to maintain the highest quality of patient care, take vital signs and running laboratory and diagnostic tests, all while utilizing your organization, communication and management skills. Gain employment in a hospital, clinic, doctor's office, nursing home, medical supply business, home health care agency, insurance company or pharmaceutical company.
