Pharmacy Technicians assist and support licensed pharmacists in
providing health care and medications to patients. Pharmacy
Technicians often perform many of the same duties as the
pharmacist. Courses include medical terminology, anatomy,
physiology, chemistry, pharmacology as well as pharmacy law and
ethics.

Dental Assistants perform a variety of patient care duties in the
office and laboratory. They assist dentists chairside, take
x-rays, maintain records and equipment, prepare patients for
treatment and instruct patients in oral hygiene.

theory and lab.

Medical Assistants aid doctors and nurses in delivering

Occupational Therapy Assistants help people of all ages develop,
regain, or master everyday skills in order to live life to its
fullest. The OTA is a skilled credentialed health care worker who
carries out treatment plans under the guidance and supervision of
an Occupational Therapist. OTA's provide treatment interventions
to infants, children, adults, and geriatric clients in setting
such as public schools, hospitals, rehabilitation centers, mental
health centers, nursing homes, and other community settings.

Respiratory Therapy is a health care specialty that focuses on
prevention, diagnosis, treatment, management and rehabilitation
of patients with breathing or other cardiopulmonary disorders. As
a Respiratory Therapist, you'll provide treatment that may range
from giving emergency relief to patients with asthma to long-term
care for chronic conditions such as emphysema.

professionals may work in clinics, hospitals, laboratories,
ranches, zoos or other veterinary settings.
