Program Accreditation

The University of Cincinnati Bachelor of Science in Clinical Laboratory Science program is accredited by the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (NAACLS*). The program is designed for working laboratory technicians who hold their associate’s degree in CLT/MLT and/or hold a CLT/MLT certification.

Program Design & Course Delivery

The program is designed around the lifestyle of busy working professional students. Students can complete the program in as little as 2 ¼ years . As a student in this program, each quarter you will be assigned to a small cohort of students led by a clinical laboratory science course instructor and facilitator. This learning community will interact with you through online communication tools such as message boards, chat sessions and email. All course content will be delivered directly to you via the course web site or materials sent to your home, such as multimedia lectures and demonstrations. Clinical experiences can be completed in your local community.
