Medical Administrative Assistant - Diploma

The healthcare field offers a variety of interesting and challenging career opportunities to graduates of the Medical Administrative Assistant program. In this program, students receive education that emphasizes the administrative and business aspects of managing a medical or dental office. With strong administrative skills, graduates can become an integral part of a healthcare facility. Entry-level positions as receptionists, insurance processors, medical records clerks, and medical transcribers are found in medical and dental offices, hospitals, clinics, home health agencies and insurance companies. Students in this program develop administrative skills through a variety of media including personal computers, calculators, transcription machines and teletrainers.
