Medical Assisting

With training from Remington College you will be prepared to function in both administrative and clinical situations. Now is the time to get the training you need for a career you'll love.*

Medical Billing and Coding

The objective of the Medical Billing and Coding Program is to provide graduates with the skills and knowledge that will enable them to qualify for entry-level positions in medical insurance billing.* When you complete the Medical Billing and Coding Program, you will be awarded a diploma and should have the basic skills and knowledge to start your career as a medical coder.

Pharmacy Technician

This program will provide learning experiences, coordinated with the texts and lab activities to enable graduates to obtain basic competency needed for employment as Pharmacy Technicians in either the hospital or retail setting.* A technician is an individual who, under the supervision of a pharmacist, assists in the performance of activities of the pharmacy department not requiring the professional judgment of a pharmacist.

This training program is divided into eight learning units called modules. Students must complete modules I, through VII. Upon successful completion of modules I through VII, students participate in 160 clock-hour Externship. Completion of the Pharmacy Technician Program is acknowledged by the awarding of a diploma. Program completion normally requires approximately 32 weeks for full-time students.
