Dental Assistant

Our Dental Assistant program provides hands-on skills and knowledge in the technical areas of preventive dentistry, including four-handed dentistry, chair-side assistance, diagnostics, pediatric dentistry, orthodontic procedures, surgical procedures, and dental radiology, among others. Business aspects of a dental office are also covered, including practice management.

Medical Assistant

You'll receive hands-on training by industry experienced instructors in our Doctor's Office Classroom (DOC)--a simulated real-life environment, which will provide the skills required to assist physicians and patients in a real medical setting. This includes taking vital signs, interpreting test results, and cleaning and dressing wounds. You'll also learn administrative skills essential for running a medical office.

During Medical Assistant training, you'll be prepared to interact directly with patients and caregivers, while learning the skills necessary to provide them with administrative assistance, conduct laboratory work, and administer clinical care.

Medical Coding and Billing

Supporting the administrative needs of hospitals or doctors' offices requires skills that go above and beyond the typical office setting. Hospitals, doctor's offices and various other medical facilities are also always looking for qualified individuals to take on the responsibilities associated with keeping track of their billing process.

As a medical coder and biller, you'll also learn essential support activities such as admitting patients, maintaining charts and scheduling appointments. With medical coding and billing training, you'll focus specifically on the financial and insurance related aspects of the medical office while learning the medical codes necessary to process medical insurance or simply to translate a doctors' diagnosis.

Nursing

You can become a Nurse by learning to extend comfort and care to patients in sickness and in health. Our team of nursing instructors leads you through a comprehensive curriculum including extended care, maternity and child development, geriatrics, and gerontology.

Your clinical rotations start in your first module and include long-term care facilities, sub-acute facilities and hospitals too. When you graduate, you can be qualified and prepared to sit for the Practical Nursing Licensing Exam.

Phlebotomy

This program provides students basic skills in:
