With our modern facilities and the latest instructional materials, Lamson Institute provides students with a comprehensive and current career education. The Institute provides a friendly, supportive learning environment in which students come first.
Our faculty members not only have an academic background in the subjects they teach, but they also possess real-world experience in the workforce. This provides our students with a foundation that prepares them to become successful individuals in a career they enjoy.
Lamson Institute's trademark is its short, convenient programs, small class sizes and hands-on training.
The staff at Lamson Institute makes every effort to maintain close communication with its students. Students have access to faculty and administrative staff for both vocational and academic advising.
Students experiencing personal problems, which require professional counseling, will be referred to the appropriate agencies.
The training schedule at Lamson Institute can accommodate most working students. The placement department will assist students in obtaining part-time or full-time employment to help them meet their living expenses during their school training.
These jobs are usually not in the field for which the student is being trained. Positions are generally in food service, custodial work, merchandising and general labor.
The Director of Education schedules tutoring in various courses, as it is needed by students. To obtain help, contact the Director of Education for a schedule. Our goal is to ensure that you graduate. We will do everything we can to see that happen.
