The Health, Fitness and Nutrition Consultant program is designed to prepare students to plan, market, and deliver safe and effective fitness, wellness and healthy lifestyle programs. Acquire current, practical knowledge and skills in such areas as the development, implementation and evaluation of fitness and wellness programs, health promotion, lifestyle management, fitness assessments, leadership, safety and injury management.
Want something to smile about? Intra-oral (level II) dental assistants prepare treatment rooms and patients for treatment and assist dentists during treatment. Learn how to prepare and manipulate dental materials, perform infection control procedures, apply rubber dams and instruct patients on oral care. Dental assistants may also have office clerical duties. These may include maintaining patient records, scheduling patient appointments, collecting patient and insurance accounts, and ordering dental office supplies.
Train to work in the medical field. This program provides both theoretical and practical instruction in those skills you need to work in a well-equipped classroom/laboratory setting. In-class learning is supplemented by clinical work experience.
