The Biomedical Equipment Technology program is designed to prepare the student for a variety of positions in an industry that installs, inspects, repairs, and maintains medical equipment. It provides the student training in electronics technology with specialized emphasis on medical applications and computer systems technology. Coursework also focuses on anatomy and biology, engineering, and biomedical instrumentation. Students receive a multidisciplinary skill set that is transferable to many career fields.
The associate's degree in health care administration prepares students to understand the essential components of managerial and organizational support in the health care industry.
